On Monday, there was big news related to injuries out on the field in the NFL. While it’s not the same amount of pain that’s been dished out the last week, there were a number of high profile injuries, mostly to quarterbacks. Quarterback Jay Cutler and Linebacker Lance Briggs of the Chicago Bears are uncertain when they will come back from their injuries, so Jordan Palmer and Larry Grant, respectively, will take their places. Rey Maualuga, a Linebacker for the Bengals, had a sprain and might be out for a month to recover. For Week 9, Campbell of the Cleveland Browns is going to be starting again. Travis Benjamin, though, isn’t quite as lucky. He tore his ACL and is going to be out of the game for the rest of the season. Of the Denver Broncos, Julius Thomas had an MRI to determine whether he was going to be back in, and then X-Rays on his ankle suggest that he’s going to be in by next week. Arian Foster and Ben Tate of the Texas Houston are in recovery and most of the bye week was spent trying to make sure they were going to get healthy enough to play. Case Keenum the starting quarterback is going to be starting in Week 9 against the Colts, so it looks like their players are starting to make a full recovery.Google+
